In November 2025, the E2P Cohort 2.0 was conducted over 18 weeks and included 12 live, instructor-led virtual sessions for over 100 participants.

First Runner-Up Award
The conceptual solution submitted by TechX Earth Space Private Limited, Bengaluru, on PS-2: Geological storage of captured CO? in the coal-bearing regions of India was awarded First Runner-Up in September 2025.
MoU Signing
The MoU between the institute and M/s TechXEarthSpace Private Limited, Bengaluru, was executed on 30 July 2025.
Ministerial Visit
A demonstration of the products and infrastructure of the CIL Innovation & Incubation Centre was conducted for the Honourable Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal, and Mines of India, Shri Pralhad Joshi, along with CMD CIL Shri P.M. Prasad, CMD BCCL Shri Samiran Dutta, CMD CCL Shri Dr. B. Veera Reddy, and other delegates on July 13, 2023, at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
